Brooke is native Californian, raised in the Napa Valley, Berkeley and, as unlikely as it sounds, Kansas City, Missouri. She attended the Thacher School in Ojai, California and then Cornell University where she graduated with honors with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture. She has worked variously in a bakery, as a restaurant manager, in a nursery, and as a CAD designer in a Civil Engineer's office. At Chandler & Chandler, Brooke is a CAD designer and Landscape Architect in training, responsible for technical coordination of site design and grading documents. Out of the office, she is passionately involved in the world of fiber - spinning, weaving, knitting and dying her own yarn, as well as teaching a variety of fiber classes around the Bay Area.
